Key Features
Your report has 40 visuals across 8 pages. Revenue should be the same color everywhere — but one chart uses a literal hex, another uses ThemeDataColor 4, a third uses a DAX measure. Checking consistency means clicking through every visual property in Desktop. This skill scans all visuals, resolves every color reference to hex, and flags discrepancies in a single Excel workbook.
How it works
Type /color-analysis, select your pages, and the skill scans everything:
Reads every visual.json file across selected pages
Extracts color assignments for every measure in every visual — fill, stroke, markers, line style, area fill
Resolves ThemeDataColor references to actual hex values using your theme's palette and shade formula
Identifies DAX-driven color measures
Flags discrepancies where the same measure has different colors in different visuals
What you get
Styled Excel workbook (3 sheets):
By Visual — every visual with its measures and their exact color, transparency, stroke width, line style, marker shape, and area fill
By Measure — every measure across all visuals, with discrepancy flags where colors don't match
Colors Used — complete color inventory showing which colors appear where
Output file: {project}_color_analysis_{date}_{time}.xlsx
