Key Features

A standard column chart does the job, but it looks like every other column chart out there. The lollipop version — a thin stem with a circle sitting on top of each value — reads cleaner and gives a dashboard a bit of polish, and you can do it without pulling anything from App Source. The catch is that the look lives deep in the visual's formatting, built from native error-bar settings most people never touch, so getting it right by hand is a lot of trial and error. This skill does the whole conversion in one command: it makes the original bars invisible, draws the stems and circle markers in your theme colours, and tidies away the axis and gridlines so the result looks deliberate — run it with /apply-rounded.

How it works

Type /apply-rounded, identify the target visual, and the skill applies the transformation:

  1. Reads the target visual to identify the measure and dimension

  2. Adds a lightweight helper measure to your semantic model

  3. Transforms the visual's appearance — the bars disappear and the lollipop style is applied

  4. Configures the circle markers and stems using your theme data colors

  5. Cleans up the axis and gridlines for a minimal, polished look

What you get

  • Helper measure — a single supporting measure added to your semantic model

  • Transformed visual — the chart is restyled to the lollipop pattern directly in your PBIP project

  • Clean axis — value axis and gridlines removed for a minimal look
