Key Features
Power BI auto-sizes columns and resets manual widths every time you switch a field parameter slicer. Dragging borders in Desktop works until the data changes. This skill lets you set exact pixel values and remembers them — so you can restore them instantly when Power BI drifts — run it with /column-width.
How it works
Type /column-width, select your page and visual, and the skill shows you the current state:
Lists all pages and their matrix/table visuals
Displays a compact summary of current column widths with a status column showing which are locked, fixed, or unset
You specify which columns to resize and the desired pixel widths
The skill updates the widths, persists them to a lock file, and sets column sizing to fixed
What you get
Current width summary — compact table showing each column's current pixel width and lock status
Updated visual definition — new column widths applied with fixed sizing mode
Width lock file — persisted width locks so widths can be restored after Power BI resets them
